My name is Elisabeth. I’ve been running hayao-miyazaki for close to two years. I started this blog because I could only find one other blog on tumblr that posted quality screencaps and information related to Studio Ghibli and I had enough of an interest to start my own devoted to Miyazaki. That original blog is ghibli. The two moderators post some of the most beautiful screencaps I have ever seen. If you follow anything Studio Ghibli related I would recommend following them.
Now more than twenty blogs exist devoted to everything from individual movies to the entire studio. I maintain this blog for my own personal interests and the interests of the 20,000+ who currently follow it. I appreciate each and every one of you. I read every single message that is sent. Please know that even if I can’t respond I read it. I have grown too attached to this blog and its devoted followers to ever give up on it.
I’m twenty. I live in Oregon. Photography is my passion. I love it, and my interest in photo-manipulation and editing is part of what drove me to create this blog.
