“What I loved about Haku and Chihiro’s relationship was not only that it was a cute young love kinda thing, but it was so…delicate, I guess you could say. No silly awkward moments, blushing, or “omgz I’m in love” realizations necessary, ever. Just a completely natural, caring relationship throughout. Right from the beginning Haku was very protective and close to her without a second thought, and Chihiro always totally trusted him, doing everything he said, and eventually saved his life too. And when she thought he was a bad guy she broke down.

Their parting scene was also very gentle and the close-up shot of her hand leaving his was actually pretty moving, in my opinion. However, after building up that kind of relationship, I wish their goodbye wasn’t so…quick.”
